    2002 Accord EX V6 3.0L Alternator Replacement

Are there any computer issues with replacing the stock 105A alternator with say, a 150A Powermaster alternator which supposedly uses the same case as the stock CS-130D alternator? What I am looking for here is -- does the car have a hall-effect sensor on the big cable to the battery and if it sees too much current, will it throw a code?

Car is a 2002 Accord EX V6 3.0L. I'm expecting I'll need to acquire some gas/oil rated AWG #4 and run alongside the existing main alternator - battery cable to handle the extra power, and reinforce the engine and body grounds accordingly.

Any particular reason to run a higher amperage alternator?
