How bad is a BENT rim????

Bought a set of OEM 17" wheels. One of the wheels has a slight bend on the inside lip. The bend is at 11 or 12 o'clock in the pic.

how much is that gonna affect anything, if at all? will i notice? wobble, vibration, noise, air loss, tire wear?

doesnt look bad, you might feel a slight vibration, or if you put it in the rear you wont feel anything

The good thing is that the bend is on the inside. It doesn't look like it'll effect anything. As long as it holds air, you'll be good. Any sort of wobble or vibration should be offset by weights when balanced.

Meh... i balanced a set of lexus wheels wednesday. one was WAY worse than that. looked like an egg while spinning on the machine. but it held air. it was a bitch to balance, but the test drive rode fine (put on the rear of the vehicle) and the owner hasn't come back.

As stated earlier, keep it on the back and I'll add keep away from potholes which isnt a real problem at all in TX.

it dont look too bad... if you feel any vibrations check and see if you have a wheels america in your area they will fix it for cheap

That bend is ok. I've seen much much worst.

ive had way worse bends/dents than that w NO problems. plus it can be fixed. we have wheel americas here. discount tire deals w them.

The 18" boyds i had on my truck have/had bends in the inside and outside lips and it rode fine. Never felt a thing. but i'll add, i was rolling down a highway not near any potholes and lip bent enough to let air out...that kinda sucked, but mine look WAY worse than those. Nice pickup too!
