you can post links to other websites. as long as you arent promoting, advertising, or spamming its cool.

the garden trim lip kit looks like lawn and garden materal. lol. i say its gay as hell. but if you like it bro, flame on.

egay ABS lips are so cheap. arent they like 30-40 bucks? why put that ghetto shit on your ride?

lame. cheap. careless. ghetto. input that.
I don't mind being knocked off, ridiculed, made to feel minuscule, When you consider the source it's kinda pitiful.

    that was my input.

i assumed you meant the hard plastic garden trim/lip DIY. thats the one ive seen most. it actually looks more like a real ABS lip. but even the hard plastic ones are difficult to keep from looking wavy and and bulgy after installation, i imagine the rubber one would be worse.

from a distance, they do look like real lips. but within 10 ft of it you can really tell its a home depot hack job.

a thread was started recently on 6ga about this, and a dude did it. it is what it is.

it depnds on the cars body in my opinion. some bodies can pull off different types of home depot lip. for ex. my friend. his car is box-y and he has the garden lip. (it looks way better in person. serious.) [now he has a real lip though]

or the home depot garage lip looks good on certain bodies too.

cars like this is a no-no

    Looks terrible.

    Dont do it.

    Save your money.

If you have a 96/97 you can put a 94/95 lip on it for almost nothing and it looks nice!

possible yes? practical no. you would need a new rear windshield(i think), new quarter panels, new rear bumper, new support, etc.
then you can put the 94/5 trunk on. ;]
