    Depo's and Morimoto H1 Projectors

Well Ive been looking into a retro for some time now for my car, and like many, I did not really feel comfortable hacking up a set of perfectly good Depos. So, I got pick up a set of the Morimoto H1 projectors and Mini gun shrouds of a guy on HS for $125. It took me a couple of hours to do seeing as I was playing safe. You dont really need to do any cutting to get them to fit, I just had to cut the shroud and part of the reflector, mind you when I cut the reflector I was getting in a hurry and wanted them in so I could drive the car but you don't notice it when you are looking at them

It is a day and nice difference with them. I would highly suggest these for anyone interested in a easy retro

looks good bro. fix that cutoff line.

here is the standard aiming procedure:

park the car on a level piece of ground and make sure the front of your car is 25 feet away from a wall.

measure the height from the ground to the center of the projector on your car.

go to the wall which should be 25 feet away from the front of your car.

make sure that the cutoff line is 2.1 - 2.5 inches lower than your headlights.

Therefore if your car is sitting at 25 inches, the lower cutoff line should be 23.5 inches above level ground assuming that there are no dips in the ground level.

The spacing of the two slopes on the wall should be the width between the two projectors on your car.

Here is a pretty good diagram.

by the way, I finally installed your sway bar the other night.. that thing is a beast!

On the Depos it is real easy to aim since the reflector has three adjusting point

and Yes balwin I know, I just haven't found a place I feel safe to be at night with my bumper off to do this and very nice! Im gonna grab a set of ST sways for my s13

To mount them was super easy, remove the depo glare thing/reflector, then insert the back of projector into bulb open, place h4 adapter around back of projector, screw on locking ring and call it a day, I also used the stock latch from the depos for the extra holding
