lol I forgot to post the rest. :smack:

I saw it in the odyssey build thread. I meant to say that was how the car first started and showed the current phase.

lol... it shouldn't be the birth. because when i hear the birth i expect the death... so no crushed and smashed pics allowed. too depressing.

Last night was a very fun night. Its been so long since I've actually wrenched on my car.

    Setup:
350mm Personal Blitz steering wheel (temporary)
NRG 2.5 Quick Release (modded - you can see the hole where the button used to be. I took it out to be faster when I take out the steering. Just pull on tabs ;] )
    NRG short hub 130H
    NRG lock

It was fairly easy to take out the steering wheel. Took me maybe 25 min to take off the steering wheel. I was pretty slow because I didnt want to break the wires/cables.
My steering wheel thread got deleted I guess because of the new server. Thats cool, I was just worried about my plans, but after taking out the steering wheel myself, I am pretty confident with what I'm gonna do.

Im just gonna hit up the junkyards and pick up some of the airbag/cruise control connectors and stuff so I dont have to cut/splice anything on my stock harness if I were to go back to stock. Im gonna relocate cruise control somewhere so I can still have that luxury. ;]

nice! but whats all this random shit cluttering up your dash. looks like a shift light up top and... an air freshener? on the cluster...

anyways, i want a new steering wheel, but in this area, with the amount of driving i do. i'd rather keep my airbag

Mmm, thats why get an S2000 steering wheel. ;]
Yeah its a shift light by the vent and an air freshener on the column cover. I dont use the shift light much anymore, I havent been to the canyons in about a year. Im just too lazy to take it out.
The freshener I dont really have a place for, but it will match nicely with the new wheel thats going in later on.

It feels better. At least for me personally, it does not feel bulky when you grip it and as a result of the smaller diameter, turning is more responsive. Allan, you might consider doing what I do. I have a towel that I place over the steering wheel and in my case, hub spacer, so the sun doesn't fade or eat it up. My Nardi is good, but unfortunately, the way I was covering it up initially was not protecting my SRR spacer and as a result, it faded a bit.

    Well benefits:
Added security, smaller diameter (for better steering and because I have huge thighs I can get out of my car without locking the steering wheel one way), and for interior looks I suppose.
    Negatives:
Safety (no driverside airbag), no horn (for now), and no cruise control (for now as well)

That's a good idea. I kinda already cover it up with an old hat I don't use anymore when I park, any curious thieves don't see what I have.
But that's a good idea. Maybe a bandana or something I wrap around so it's covered while I drive.
