If you're wondering what the cinderblocks are for on the hood. Well, they heated it up because its a CF hood so it would contour perfectly to the fender line. So to shape it how they wanted it, underneath the cinderblocks is a piece of metal they fabricated which will mold the CF hood (which they're painting over anyhow) more to the lines of the fender
I considered shaving the side moldings but then I was looking at a car without and it looked a little odd so i said screw it. I am actually going to have him paint the moldings a matte black.![]()
You'll love the color of the car when its done.
I am done with the audio, the motor swap is complete and once the body shop is done with it, stage 2 cams, camshafts, intake manifold and whatever miscellaneous parts I have to change with that are going in. The interior is completely black (minus the rsx seats which are going in now) and that's complete and looks nice. Once the body stuff is done its a wrap. I am having the guy who is painting the car also painting the valve cover the same color as the car so I'll have the stock red valve cover for my H22 and the body colored, and then the little inserts in the hole at the top of the rsx seats are a metallic silver, he's gonna paint those too, just for shits and giggles. I have some professional pics scheduled for a few weeks from now, I cant wait.
