my h22 build thread

well i havent posted on here in probably 2 years. since then ive swapped in an h22 into my cb7 gone to full threaded body coilovers and will soon be adding a larger rear swaybar soon as well. but i also decided that i would pick up a spare head and block to build up on an N/A build with a nice little suprise....

these:


TWM ITB's with DSM bluetop injectors(injectors to be ordered later)
Bisimoto stage 2 cams
OEM type-s pistons
H22 stock rods shot peened
Bisimoto Valvetrain
Larger name adjustable cam gears(skunk2, crower, or bisi)
Moroso Baffled oil pan
Hot Tanked and line honed h22 block
Ported and Polished Head and possibly have the ITB's port matched
Arp rod bolts and head studs
Tuned on either hondata s200 or s300.

suggestions and insight to my build is welcome and i'll be updating this as i go along. This isnt going to be a build i do in a month however, im piecing this together slowly, getting best parts i can possibly get.

i got them for half price, original sticker was 1600. got them for 800 from a friend, and as you can see theyre practically brand new. he never got his motor tuned and took them off and sold the car before it had maybe 200 miles on it with them on...
