Ps2?

Anyone think of a better place ot put a ps2 in the car other than under the passenger seat?
I don't wanna do any serious modding of the car, so i kept it simple, but i want to ps2 to be easy to change the cds and such, but under the passenger seat just asks to be kicked and stuff.........anyone have a better spot? btw- glove compartment is too small, trunk is too far away

If you are confident enough to make serious mods to your ps2 insted of your car then you can open your ps2 and move the CD rom out and put it somplace close to the sterio or whatever... so you could see the CD ROM and change the cd whenever you like.... use extension cables(If you can't find any on web, then you can make your own) for the CD rom to the playstation located under the seat or where ever(Keep the distance as short as possible)...
If you want you can also extend the power button to an appropriate location for you....
Personally I have not done it with ps2(yea but I have opened everything appart, its not that difficult) but havve done that with many other devices... You should do that only if you are very confident that you can do it without any problems and not screw up!!!!!

I am gonna do the taking part the PS2 Thing..........i feel confident....and I have alreayd had to take it aprt....when it falls 7 feet onto a tile floor, surgery is needed........but it works.....but taking it apart would rule!

7 feet is not very high... they make 'em pretty tough since little kids play it too...
but if you already have broken it enough and it still works... taking the CD rom out would not be a bad idea!!!!!

can't take the cd rom drive out.....it is connects by a ribbon wire thing...and ti is really short and there is no where that i know of to buy a longer version of the wire thing......i took it apart, but all i could do was make it skinnier.....but that would involve leaving the bottom off......no way to make it smaller, no way to move the cd rom drive (i don;t think.......anyone else have ideas?)

Vertically on the driver side door cubby. Or glued Vertically on the side of the center console passenger side. Won't get kicked unless you've got huge passeners. The best place to put it is under the passenger seat, just tell people not to move the chair back and forth so damn much.
