Ok i have 2 12inch JL audio Subs(W0) in a power wedge box that i bought off my friend for bout 160bucks...and he was lettin me borrow his 2-channel 600watt kenwood amp to run the subs. He needs his amp back and now i need to find an amp to run it with. I am using the thinner type of power wire i think called 4gauge to run my power with and i heard that once u start pumping juice outta ur amp any higher then 500watts then u will have to get a bigger gauge wire and i dont wanna do that, i wanna keep it simple. So i was thinkin bout the 250/1 JLaudio monoblock amp to run it with. Can i keep my power wire with this amp? And would it be better then the old kenwood amp i was using and in the future when i get more money could i run 2 W3v2s off of it? Please help with some info...thanx alot!

Oh ya i also need 4 new coaxial speakers for to replace my stock ones, i think they are 6 1/2inch all around. WHat are some good speakers that sound really good for the mids, lows, and highs that dont require a multichannel amp to run. I am also using a Pioneer head unit that has a MOSFET amp 50wattsx4channels.THANKS!!!

500/1 is too much power for 2 w0's, they only have 125wrms rating.. youll only need a 250/1 to power 2- 12w0's.. and later down the road when you upgrade to the w3's you can get another 250/1 to power the other 12w3.. or get the 500/1 now and turn the gains waay down so you dont blow the w0's..
Interiors i would go with JL or Boston Accoustics. i love the JL coax's but the BA's sound amazing as well..
spend more money on the front set of speakers, thats where you spend most of your time.. The XR-650CXI are the closest you can get to a natural component speaker thats in a coax design, and they sound amazing.. then get a cheap 3way 6x9 like the TR690-TXi and youll be smooooth ::biggrin:
