Has anybody heard about this new civic that's coming out in the spring of 07? Looks kind of good.
Co-designed by Honda and MUGEN, the Civic MUGEN Si Sedan draws inspiration from a "Formula Sport" concept, adding an aggressive dimension of performance to the Civic Si Sedan with a Twin Ring Motegi track-tuned suspension, aerodynamic body styling and a performance exhaust system. The suspension lowers the vehicle by 15 mm with highly aggressive spring and damper tuning for enhanced handling performance. The full-vehicle aero-package adds a front spoiler and sports grille, side spoilers, a rear diffuser and an adjustable rear wing. The lightweight, MUGEN forged aluminum wheels measure 18 x 7.5 inches and include high-grip summer tires (215/40R18). Available in spring 2007, Honda will produce a limited release of 500 MUGEN Si sedans, which will carry an under-$30K pricetag.

Ive heard alot about it. I have two good friends that are salesman at Schaumburg Honda in Illinois and that dealer is getting 21 of them and half are already bought by employees of the company. So which basically means if u want one that bad, you better get to the dealer with cash and pay for it in full or they'll be gone.

Why not do a Mugen Accord also for production. That would be good. Some people will buy it. I probably would buy one if they do that. Especially since I'm mostlikely getting a new job working for the Gov. on a military contracted job doing networking, telecommunications, and computer work. I will be making the money to get one. I'm actually considering getting the Civic with this job. I will have base privileges and assets to classified info. I will see though. I will go test drive it and see if I like it. The coupe I drove wasn't all that exciting. Why is every performance thing that honda does revols around the Civic. Are there eyes closed to the Accord or something, b/c I know they see turners with Accords and them being fast. Other companies are matching what there previous cars are doing in tuning, why not honda.

True. That's ridiculous, no engine related improvements sucks. All they did was lower the car, add bigger rims and add a functional wing. If somebody has a regular Si then they can do there own Mugen Si with engine improvements. What they should have done was make that engine produce much more tq than it's producing right now. The Si only has 139 ft lb tq, which is ridiculous.

When I drove the coupe, that's what I had to do with the man in the car. He didn't mind, he told me and my cousin to go on a back road where no cops are around and test it out. Both of us went to 8 grand in first gear to see what it would do.

More of that Honda isn't sending the good stuff to the US. They have done things with Accords, it's that we never get them. We only get the Civic.

well since theres only gonna be like 500 of them. it will be kind of like a collectors edition. once they're gone, they're gone.
but i still say $30k is too much for 190hp. and thats only to the crank

The car is quite expensive, but just like many limited production cars, people are willing to pay for them, much like the type R's.

Id rather buy a TSX than a civic...its still a civic even if its "Mugen" looking. If it was Mugen modded then maybe but still, its a civic.
Oh yeah, I'm sure those things wont stay on the street too long either. Probably get jacked the day you get it home right from outside your house.

Retarded. You're paying for the overpriced, overrated name behind it. It's nothing but stiffer springs and a lousy body kit. It's ugly anyway.
